The Ralene Nelson Team Joins REMAX Gold in Rio Vista
Since entering the industry, Ralene Nelson has built a strong presence throughout Solano County and the Sacramento region. Her career has included time with several independent brokerages, followed by many successful years at Century 21 M&M before eventually joining REMAX Grupe Gold.
When Grupe Real Estate announced it would be sunsetting, Ralene quickly recognized her best path forward.
“Before I even got back from the announcement, Keith had already called me,” she said. “We met, talked through everything, and decided to make the move effective that same day.”
For Ralene, the decision to join REMAX Gold came down to professionalism, flexibility, and the feeling that the company valued its agents.
“Keith was very receptive and easy to work with,” she said. “Being able to keep our office in Rio Vista was important, and the process felt very welcoming.”
Now operating out of her Main Street office in Rio Vista alongside teammate Gil Fernandez, Ralene says she feels excited about the future.
“I feel great,” she said.
One of the things Ralene enjoys most about real estate is the opportunity to build relationships and help clients find a home that truly fits their lifestyle.
“You need to be an active listener,” she explained. “I try to understand their hobbies, how they entertain, their budget, and then match their needs to the right house.”
That relationship-focused approach has helped her adapt through changing market conditions over the years. Ralene combines traditional marketing with modern digital exposure, utilizing quarterly postcard campaigns, online advertising platforms like Homes.com and Realtor.com, and professional photography to maximize visibility for her listings.
Outside of real estate, Ralene is heavily involved in the Rio Vista community. She serves as Treasurer for the Rio Vista Foundation, an organization that raises scholarship funds for local high school students through a series of community events held throughout the year.
Looking ahead, Ralene is focused on continuing to grow her business while building new relationships within REMAX Gold.
