Ty and Marysue Russell Join REMAX Gold in El Dorado County
For nearly four decades, Marysue and Ty Russell have been a constant in the foothill communities surrounding Placerville. They’ve built a business not on flash or fanfare, but on relationships, the kind that span generations.
Both Ty & Marysue have worked in real estate for over 38 years, serving families across El Dorado County through shifting markets and evolving technology.
They were with Coldwell Banker for 25 years, working out the Main Street office. “We thought we’d retire there,” Marysue said. But when the brokerage stepped away from brick-and-mortar offices, Century 21 bought the building, and they stayed with them for six years.
That changed when Lori Ann Ingram, a former colleague they deeply respected, became managing broker at REMAX Gold. “We worked with Lori Ann when she first got her license,” Marysue said. “We’ve been doing this long enough to know who’s going to make it for the long haul. She had the drive, the smarts and the personality to be a great agent. We had deals with her over the years and loved working with her.”

The transition wasn’t without hiccups. Just days after signing, a massive winter storm dropped three feet of snow at their home by Jenkinson Lake, knocking out power and internet for nearly a week.
