Ella Shan Joins REMAX Gold in Folsom

With a diverse background that blends leadership, creativity, and community building, Ella Shan brings a unique perspective to real estate as a REMAX Gold associate. She earned her master’s degree in manufacturing management from McGill University in Canada before spending 15 years in Kansas. During that time, she followed her passion for Chinese folk dance, serving for more than a decade as an instructor and manager of a nonprofit dance group. Teaching students from young children to seniors helped her develop patience, strong communication skills, and a deep appreciation for people at every stage of life.
Two years ago, Ella and her family relocated to El Dorado Hills, California, a move that inspired her to begin a new professional chapter in real estate. She was drawn to REMAX Gold for its strong reputation, professionalism, and supportive, community-focused culture.

The most rewarding part of Ella’s work is helping first-time homebuyers, particularly renters and new immigrants who are new to the area. “The most rewarding part of my work is helping first-time homebuyers, especially renters and new immigrants who are new to the community. Guiding them through the process and helping them find a place to truly call home is very meaningful to me. Seeing their happiness and building long-term relationships with them is what I enjoy most,” Ella said.
Outside of work, Ella enjoys an active, balanced lifestyle with her family. She loves running, hiking, skiing, exploring nature, and trying new local restaurants—activities that help her recharge and bring focus and energy to her clients.
