RE/MAX Gold Adds New Location in Truckee

We are incredibly excited to finally share the news that RE/MAX Gold has expanded even further into Nevada County, with a new office in Truckee, California! Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Truckee is a scenic tourist destination that has gained increasing popularity in recent years—and continues to boom!
The current location of the Truckee office is 11467 Brockway Rd., however, the permanent location will be a part of a brand new shopping center. The new office is slated to be ready for agents to join later this year.
Teresia Renwick, Broker of Record and Partner for RE/MAX Gold in Nevada County, says that the expansion into Truckee has been a long time in the making.“About four years ago, we decided to purchase the franchise rights in Truckee, with plans of it being in a new shopping center. Those plans were put on hold, but we’re excited to have them on track and to have a temporary location in the area to serve that market.” Teresia cites Truckee as being a location that will “fill in the gaps” in the RE/MAX Gold footprint. "With our offices in western Nevada County doing so well, we are excited to expand our reach into eastern Nevada County—which is a beautiful destination in the Tahoe area.”
At this time, Ross Collins is the agent on duty at the Truckee office. Ross joined RE/MAX Gold in March from Sotheby’s Real Estate, citing the renowned support and network that comes with being a RE/MAX Gold agent as the motivation for his transition. With 20 years in the Truckee community, Ross is witnessing a transforming market and is eager to get the word out to other RE/MAX Gold agents. “The Market here is more than robust. Right now, we’re seeing a great deal of interest from those who have become remote workers and now have the ability to relocate to this beautiful region for their primary home,” says Ross. “Mountains, lakes and sunshine—it’s a great place to live and play.”
